Weekend Cruises

March 9th, 2008 by Kristina Choi · 2 Comments

If you find you’re unable to take extra time off from your job to go on a week-long cruise, consider weekend cruising.  With weekend cruises you leave Friday and come back Sunday or Monday.  So, you have a mini-vacation lasting 2 to 3 days.

Weekend cruises can be really fun, despite how short they are.  You still get the same type of amenities as you would on a regular cruise, including restaurant dining, live shows, buffets, gambling, room service and even land excursions.  In fact, weekend cruises don’t differ in that arena.

The only downside is that when Sunday or Monday rolls around, you may feel like you didn’t get your money’s worth.  Weekend cruises go by very quickly, but what else can you expect?  At least during the time that you are on the cruise, you have an array of things to do.  That’s why for many weekend cruises are still a better choice than what they would normally do at home.

Weekend cruises are just losing of time and money. My view for vacation is large and relaxing, to forget about all the job I have and to visit nice places. Once I tryied to make weekend vacation (not on cruise ship, but…) and when I came back to home I was more tired that ever. After that followed one week, which I will never forget. So better make the vacation real, and cruise ships are the best way.
