Coca Cola and Carnival Cruise Lines have teamed up to create an environment especially for teens aboard their “Fun Ships,” with Club 02 (think member’s club, not night club).

Club 02 focuses on cruisers between 15 and 17, and provides them with age appropriate onboard events (like a karaoke lounge and reality show-esque challenges), and off board excursions under a teen group leader where they can experience the ports of the trip with their own age group.

They’re also given a private teens-only lounge on the ship, spanning between 1,000 - 1,800 square feet, with plush seating, a DJ, and the cleverly named “Coke-tail bar,” where teens can enjoy coke products and various non-alcoholic specialty drinks.

There are, of course, 24-hour arcades, free pizza and ice cream, and, the case of Fun Ship Imagination, even a nine hole miniature golf course for Club 02.

So, no need for trepidation about bringing your teen along for the cruise vacation you’ve always dreamed of. Carnival has addressed the niche, and created the perfect ground for interaction and enjoyment aboard their cruises.
