At daylight you will enjoy the sparkling water, the majestic views of the seas, the warm heat of the sun and calming environment.
At nighttime be magically enchanted with the cold wind from the sea touching your skin, the dark sky offering light through the moon and stars, and most importantly the serenity the night brings.
You will endure all and more when you decide to take on a Caribbean cruise. You can opt to enjoy either the eastern or southern part of Caribbean. Perhaps, you can visit both.
For the eastern part of the Caribbean, you will be able to take a peek at the Bahamas, St. Martin, Puerto Rico, the British and the American Virgin Islands. On the other hand, you will explore places like St. Kitts, Grenada, Dominica, Barbados, Antigua and Aruba on the south of Caribbean.
You will be able to enjoy the places mentioned above depending on the itinerary set forth by your travel agency. Hence, make sure to let them inform you what places in the Caribbean you will be visiting before finalizing your travel plans. Apart from the places-to-go, Caribbean activities also vary depending on the travel agency and the kind of cruise ship you have chosen.
Large cruise ships offer a wide-array of activity options from the moment you wake up until the time you head in to your cabin. Apart from the activity options being presented by large cruise ship companies, they have different amenities which can divert your attention from the different stresses of life. If you need to relax, you can have a swim at their swimming pool or you can opt to unwind in the spa. Perhaps, a massage will keep you going. If food makes you stress-free then large cruise ships have different types of restaurants and café’s which you can choose from. Other facilities such as dance floors, bars, and gym are offered to give you options on how to stay relaxed during the entire cruise.
Another ship option is the mid-size cruise ship. Most of the mentioned facilities and services are also being offered under this type of ship. The difference lies in the cost you have to pay. Mid-size cruise ships are economical than large cruise ships. Hence, if you want to enjoy a Caribbean cruise yet still want to save some money, then this type of ship is best for you.
Depending on the type of ship you are in, the stop-over varies. Despite the difference every ship has, what are more alike are the things most travelers do once they have set in the sands of Caribbean. Some travelers shop for local crafts which are normally handmade. There are some who go island-hopping. Those who love the water would go for a swim, dive, sail, snorkel or just spend a day to get a tan.
Being in the Caribbean makes you use all of your senses. You can definitely see the wonders of nature. You can feel the presence of nature inviting you to enjoy everything the Supreme Being has created. You can hear the living things which dwell in the place called “almost paradise.” You can even touch the beauty and authenticity of things around you – big or small. Most importantly, you can talk about how Caribbean has brought joy and serenity in your life even for a short period of time.
